We’re shopping at Barnes & Noble, Dillard’s, Kirkland’s, World Market, Fresh Market, and Victoria’s Secret, sharing what we’re buying (and why), plus the small moments that come with doing life side-by-side across generations. We also went to see Song Sung Blue and talk through how it landed for both of us — me at 35 and my mom at 72. It turned into a really interesting conversation about storytelling, nostalgia, pacing, and how age and life experience can completely change the way a movie hits.
