Special Hobby 1/72 scale Pinto TT1 civilian service, kit No SPH72220 produced in 2012. Join me in this video going through the building process of this little known US trainer aircraft. Hopefully my videos will be informative, constructive and interesting to the viewer. I intend to try and show my modelling skills and techniques towards my builds. I tend to steer more towards aircraft and figure painting, but I am not averse to trying different genres. So join me, if you can in this wonderful world of scale modelling. The Pinto TT-1: Affectionately known to its crew as Tinker Toy. I believe this kit to be a limited run and may be difficult to find now, but not impossible. Mini history: This aircraft was initially proposed to the Air Force in response to an air force competition for a jet powered primary trainer, which was eventually won by the Cessna T-37. The Pinto was a mid-wing tricycle landing gear trainer with an enclosed cockpit and powered by a single jet engine and carried no armament.
