Many people fall into despair, thinking that their sins are too great and that Allah will throw them into Hell. But Allah is Ar-Rahman (The Most Merciful), Ar-Raheem (The Especially Merciful), Al-Ghaffar (The Constant Forgiver), and At-Tawwab (The Accepting of Repentance). He has promised His slaves that no matter how great their sins are, His mercy is far greater. Evidences from the Quran & Sunnah: 1️⃣ Allah commands us never to despair of His mercy: “Say, ‘O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful.’” 📖 [Surah Az-Zumar 39:53] 2️⃣ The Prophet ﷺ said: “By the One in whose Hand is my soul, if you did not sin, Allah would replace you with people who would sin and then seek forgiveness, so He could forgive them.” 📚 [Sahih Muslim 2749] 3️⃣ If you repent, Allah replaces your sins with good deeds: “Except for those who repent, believe, and do righteous work. For them, Allah will replace their evil deeds with good. And Allah is Ever-Forgiving, Most Merciful.” 📖 [Surah Al-Furqan 25:70] 4️⃣ The door of repentance is open until death: “Indeed, Allah accepts the repentance of a slave as long as he does not reach the throes of death.” 📚 [Sunan At-Tirmidhi 3537 | Sahih] How to Apply This in Your Life: ✅ Always repent, no matter how many times you sin. ✅ Make sincere du’a asking Allah for forgiveness with humility and regret. ✅ Increase in good deeds—praying, fasting, giving charity, and making dhikr erase sins. ✅ Seek knowledge and strive to purify your heart before it becomes hard and sealed. No sin is greater than Allah’s mercy—so never delay repentance!
