This video was filmed during last year's Kyoto autumn leaf season and is part of my 9-day, 8-night autumn Kyoto trip. I’ve pulled out the Nara, Todaiji, Kasuga Taisha, and Fushimi Inari Shrine sections from day four and re-edited them with new music and narration, so it can serve as inspiration for those planning to visit Kyoto for autumn leaves this year. We started our day in Nara, experiencing the friendly deer up close, marveled at the giant Buddha in Todaiji, explored Kasuga Taisha with its thousand lanterns, and finally went to Fushimi Inari Shrine to see the famous thousands of Torii gates and the beautiful evening light-up.
