Lima 34 Paymaster Dragline getting limbered up

Went through 5 tubes of grease to hit all the fittings i could find. Undercarriage was my main focus. sprayed and loosened any pins i could on the linkage. Mainly using acetone /atf mix and letting it soak every week. cleaned out as many oil holes on the linkage as i could as well and let oil run down in. Got the operators door back on track and slid out of the way. Found the frozen boom hoist linkage under a pile of coal dirt and grease. I let it sit in the aft acetone mix and hope it will free up. I might try my little porta power in there and see if i can get it to slide. Its a square bar in a square tube and its frozen pretty solid with no easy way to get to it. shifts from swing to travel fine. swing locking brake works. steering ill have to mess with some more as well as the reversing shaft clutches but im making progress none the less. stay tuned for more
