This 75-Minute Kundalini Yoga Class features Nabhi Kriya for Prana and Apana, a powerful practice for digestion, navel center strength, and emotional alchemy. Digestion isn’t only physical, it’s energetic and emotional too. Each day we take in so much: food, information, conversations, experiences, the state of the world, our own ruminating thoughts, even joy and positive news. To fully process life, the body and nervous system need the ability to digest, integrate, and release. This kriya supports that process by strengthening the navel center and balancing the sacred energies of prana and apana. Prana is the inward and upward moving life force, like the inhale, like a flower blossoming toward the sun. Apana is the downward, eliminating energy, like the exhale, like roots reaching deep into the soil. When both blossom and roots are nourished, we become steady and radiant. Grounded and open. Able to receive… and able to release. Throughout this practice, I invite you to feel into your own capacity to alchemize, transforming what you’ve taken in into wisdom, clarity, and embodied strength. We close with the Kundalini Meditation for a Calm Heart, allowing everything we’ve processed to settle into the intelligence of the heart. From that space, we let the heart lead the way.
