Fabio Reitano, film director of the winner film Italia: where WOW belongs by Wow Tapes (Italy) which won the 2nd Prize in Independent Travel Video category, and participant of the 10th Amorgos Tourism Film Festival, send us a video which was filmed during the festival! Please find it here as well as his message to all of us who share this unique time together! “Sometimes, some places - with their beauty and their vastness - almost seem impossible to be filmed. How could I ever capture that blue or those dimensions? This is how Amorgos made me feel, particularly considering I was without my camera! So I decided if the landscape was too overwhelming to represent, I’d try to capture feelings. So here’s a minute full of joy, a minute that captures the spirit of Amorgos if not it’s landscape - as seen by me on my phone camera! And well, since I didn’t want to lose the vibe to daily grind, I edited the video on the ferry back to Athens, with the incredible Aegean setting the scene (and a feta sandwich right next to me). So this a small present from Wow Tapes to all the participants, staff and friends who quickly became family in those three days.
