740bhp 5cyl 2.5l Mk7 Golf R 0-60mph 2.08 Seconds

David Lee in his RS3 powered Mk7 Golf was in action at Rockingham Speedway in the sprint events. Pushing out 740bhp via a TTE7xx turbo by The Turbo Engineers and tuned by MRC Tuning, and still running a stock engine and stock gearbox/clutch, he managed a best time of 1.92s for the 0-60mph and 6.146 @ 113mph for the 1/8th Mile, and with a change of tyres he drove it home !!!! The best time I recorded here was a 2.08 for the 0-60mph and 6.40 @ 104mph for the 1/8 Mile. This car has also ran the 1/4 mile at 9.67 @ 143mph at Santa Pod Raceway.
