Hindi Version (Only 30 minutes of the original English Video). Gratitude is a key step for spiritual progress and the beginning of the spiritual journey. Gratitude is for everything Krishna does. If our consciousness is focused on what is lacking, we remain in a negative state, but by counting our blessings, we reorient consciousness to become more positive. Individuals who are self-realized understand that the living entity transmigrates from one body to another. Conversely, those whose minds are not developed and who are not situated in self-realization cannot see this process. When we are grateful for massive things like sunlight, moonlight, and the fire of digestion, we always wonder as to who is providing these benefits. People often approach God treating Him as an "order supplier" or a servant, which only furthers materialism. Spiritual life truly begins when a person acknowledges his constitutional position as a servant of God. Krishna says that he is Paramātmā, and from Him come remembrance, knowledge, and forgetfulness. The purpose of all the Vedas is to know Him. He is the compiler of the Vedānta and the Lord of the Vedas. We discuss Two Classes of Beings: The fallible (in the material world) and the infallible (in the spiritual world or liberated living entities, also called akṣara). Besides these two, we also have (Paramātmā), who maintains the three worlds. Krishna says He is transcendental to both the fallible and the infallible and is celebrated as Puruṣottama. We also discuss how different philosophical understandings of the Vedas arose: • Buddhism Arose to stop the widespread killing of animals, being practiced in the name of Vedic rituals during the beginning of Kaliyuga. Buddhism does not include a conception of God or the soul, which was convenient for people averse to submission. • Advaita (Non-Dualism): Śankarācārya revived Vedic culture by introducing the Advaita concept that the ultimate goal is to become one with God, appealing to the ego of people who had been immersed in Buddhism's concept of "zero". • Viśiṣṭādvaita (Qualified Non-Dualism) and Dvaita (Dualism): Future teachers like Rāmānujācārya and Madhvācārya shifted the focus to the difference between the living entity and God. • Acintya Bhedābheda Tattva (Inconceivable Simultaneous Oneness and Difference): This was the complete understanding, as presented by Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu. We conclude with the “most confidential” knowledge i.e one who understands Krishna to be the Puruṣottama (Supreme Person), is the knower of everything, and engages in full devotional service.
