VIENNA IN THE SUMMER | A DAY TO EXPLORE | VIENNESE COFFEE IS A MUST! | CENTRAL EUROPE TRIP

Today we're exploring the gorgeous, historically rich, culural hub, and iconic European city of Vienna in beautiful Austria. After a quick couple of train rides from Prague with a 3 minute transfer time, we made it to Vienna. We start with breakfast and coffee and then hit the Danube which we walk alongside all the way into downtown Vienna. We check out St Stephen's Cathedral and make our way through town, by the Vienna State Opera House and into a typical Viennese coffee house. Viennes coffee is a must! The coffee culture in Vienna is just next level, plus our ice-cream-whipped-cream coffee really hit the spot. After that we explore the Ringstraße with all it's incredible landmark buildings of rich historical importants, free art galleries, gardens and more. We spot the Leopold Museum, the Austrian Parliament Building, Rathaus, Burg Theatre, Museum of Natural History, Heldenplatz, Hofburg Palace, and eventually have a picnic in the Burggarten. We try some Wienner Schnitzel paired with a Viennese wine spritzer. Then we walk through Michaelerplatz, back into the Inner Stadt by St Peter's Church and back to St Stephen's Cathedral. This was a pretty big walking day to have in 35 degree weather but it was worth it! Vienna is simply breathtaking!
