This is my first prototype of a Dual-Axis Solar Tracker, only powered and operated by sunlight/daylight. The direction of the Tracker towards the sun is maintained by 5 solar panels at 12V 10W each. The North and South panels controls the Tilt angle between 53° (summer solstice) and 7° (winter solstice) here in the northern hemisphere at latitude 60°. The tilt angle is adjusted automatically by approximately 0.25° per day. The East and West panels follows the orbit of the sun from sunrise to sunset. I put a panel on the back because this Tracker only operates by sunlight and stops in the sunset-position. When the sunrise hits the backside of the Tracker, it'll turn around to the West until the sunlight is equal on the East and West panels. The panel on the back is connected the same as the West panel. This Tracker is built completely without welding, no batteries, no programming with computers, Arduino etc. and no GPS. This only runs on Solar DC and it was a really fun project.
