What is Pipe Bursting? - Sewer Replacement Plumbing Tutorial

What do you do when you need to replace a sewer but there's no room for dirt and the customer doesn't want their whole yard or driveway busted up? The answer, is Pipe Bursting. Pipe bursting uses a machine capable of pulling a cable with a new sewer attached to it with tremendous force through the old sewer, bursting it and p allowing the new sewer to take its' place. While a much quicker an convenient method to replacing a sewer, there are drawbacks to using this method. A lot of things have to go right in order for this to work. After a full day of tedious mental energy and hard work, we managed to replace an entire sewer, just in time for dinner.
