Today I made homemade Pepero/Pocky cookies, buttery biscuit sticks dipped in chocolate! These are inspired by the Korean Pepero snack, but with a rich, handmade cookie base. Perfect for gifting or snacking with coffee. ☕️ 🔸 Ingredients (37-40 sticks) 90g unsalted butter 40g caster sugar 36g room temperature egg 160g cake flour 100g dark cooking chocolate 30g dark converture chocolate 70g white chocolate 2g matcha powder 🔸 How to make: 1. Lightly cream butter and sugar. 2. Add egg in portions, mixing each time until combined. 3. Sift in flour and fold until a soft dough forms. 4. Portion about 8-9g per stick and roll or press into shape. 5. Bake at 170°C for 12–15 minutes until lightly golden. 6. Dip into melted chocolate (dark, white, or matcha). 7. Add toppings like almond nibs if you like. 8.
