You have to take first right at the roundabout of "Last Exit Al Qudra" towards Bab-Al- Shams desert resort/ Expo lake from D63 road. Take U-turn at 3rd roundabout and you can find the way towards the lake at your right. The area can easily reach by following directions on google map. At the end of road and on your left you can find the lake. To find it on Google Maps, you can type in its coordinates as follows: 24.7874218, 55.3065662. You will need a 4×4 to reach Moon Lake. You may not need to deflate your tires bcz the sand is hard. The area around Moon Lake is serene and calm, with the serene beauty of nature leaving visitors in a relaxed state of mind. During the weekend and winter time you may encounters off-roaders and caravans. Surrounded by the reassuring quietness of the desert, you’ll likely spot some of the local wildlife (including Oryxes) around the lake. Plz don't disturb them. The views during sunsets and sunrise are spectacular representing a real treat for the eyes. Don't litter, don't leave your waste and garbage. Access the area responsibly.
