Fortville Indiana is home to CSX's Indianapolis Line- a double track main between that city and Cleveland. It hosts a good deal of fast freight, with a track speed of 60mph.The first part of this video shows part of one day's activity there, catching three intermodals, and an as-needed pipe train that had the "We Are One CSX" special unit. There's YN2 paint, "viking ships" (memories of Hobo Shoestring!), one intermodal was a 600-axle monster intermodal. Fortville is the Bituminous Kole Home Base for a reason... or three! Added bonus: an Intermodal with a track geometry car, and a manifest pulled by the New York Central Heritage Unit!
