Karur Stampede: Madras HC Slams Actor Vijay, Orders SIT Probe Into Tragedy That Killed 41

The Madras High Court has ordered the constitution of a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to conduct a court-monitored probe into the Karur stampede tragedy where 41 people, including women and children, lost their lives. The court also heavily condemned the TVK party and its leader, actor-politician Vijay, stating that the party leaders abandoned the scene of the tragedy and have not expressed any remorse for the incident.
