The shuttle driver warned me about the Rainbow Section of the trail. He told me that people are gassed by the time they get there and that last section, with the ups and downs generally is what does people in. We even had two of our group drop off before this section. I considered going with them, but figured i'm not going to be back anytime soon and should strike while the iron was hot. Despite the suffering, this is the most memorable part of the trail for me.
