I purchased my truck from a gentleman in Rimersburg, PA (3 hours NE of where I live). He purchased it from a gentlemen in California and had it shipped to Pennsylvania. When they were unloading it, his wife want to know what it was and he told her it was his new project. Now you have to understand that he had a 3 car garage and all 3 bays were filled with 3 other projects varying from jut started to completion and his wife was parking on the gravel. She posted it on craigslist and I was lucky enough to purchase it. 1973 was the first year of the 6th generation of the Ford pickup truck. It was the first year that front disk brakes were standard equipment. They also moved the fuel tank from behind the seat to between the frame rails under the bed. This video shows the history of what I have done to the truck since I purchased it. for the most part I am keeping it stock except for a few upgrades for drivability. All of the sheet medal is original, I estimate 75 to 80% of the paint it original. To the best of my knowledge the drive train is original to the truck.
