Hey everyone! Welcome to tutorial #44 - Ambient Delay Pluck aka blip :) This one is taking delays to the next level, by making a pluck with 2 different delays that interact together - The first one is made by transposing the pluck an octave half-way through its decay, so that it creates a pitch shifted delay. The second one is just an ordinary delay at the end of the signal chain, which causes both the original pitch and the octave above to repeat, which makes a great pluck for transitions thanks to its unique delay pattern. I suggest watching this tutorial with tutorial #8 I made which shows you how to make pentatonic scale fills - they sound really great with this patch. IMPORTANT THING TO NOTE - in Massive X, when I used LFO 4 to modulate the pitch up an octave, it was set on "Bi mode" which means it also modulates the pitch an octave down, creating a deeper sound. If you want it to modulate the pitch just an octave above like in Serum, set it to "Uni mode" instead. If there's a subject/sound you want me to cover in one of my future tutorials let me know in the comments below ;) Enjoy! ----------- Watch tutorial #8: • Tutorial #8 | Virtual Riot Pentatonic Fills My Soundcloud: / sharpendmoosic Contact me at: sharpendmoosic@gmail.com ----------- Background Link: https://flic.kr/p/dXAHRx Taken by theilr, modified by Sharpend.
