[PAUSELESS] The Art of the Blade - 100% (Top 140 Extreme Demon) by mbed + more

Last year I did Killbot for maymory and I wanted to be good enough in a year to be able to do something harder. So what better level to do than The Art of the Blade!!! and without pausing!!!! The Art of the Blade was one of the most unique and one of my most favourite experiences I have had on a level, though it ended up being far from my most enjoyed. I originally decided to do this pauseless because I told whizkid I might do The Art of the Blade and he joked about me doing it pauseless so I said why not!! after nebula beat it about a week before I did I ended up being the 3rd person ever to do it pauseless!!! (i think) First of all, the theming in this level is amazing, and all the deco fits PERFECTLY to the theme I love it so much. The song representation is also some of the best in any level I've played with really cool sync and themed stuff despite such an unorthodox song. The gameplay was really fun to learn and is all really interesting. OMG the puzzle is soo fun I can't believe more people haven't done this pauseless, it added such a unique aspect to playing the level because not only was I playing hard gameplay but I had to solve a puzzle while playing it in real time. Playing The Art of the Blade was really fun for about the first 8-10 days but then it went suuuper downhill. The cause of this was just how inconsistent everything was, which isn't really a fault of the level because its weird gameplay was kind of the point. Another thing was just how unlucky I was getting with the patterns, I'll explain it in a bit but basically every easy pattern I'd die to something completely random in the ship or the ball and every impossible super mega hard pattern I'd get to the memory and just fail because I can't solve it in time. Finally, the last thing that made this level annoying in the end was the amount of memory passes it took to finally beat it. I'd finally get a pattern that I solve in time and then fail to something random in the wave or the swing copter, which I would be fine with dying like 7~ times to because the swing is really hard but I ended up with 12 deaths past the memory correctly :( so basically I love this level but I got very unlucky towards the end. the puzzle it really isn't toooo bad to learn how to solve it, its not quite as hard as people make it out to be. The code is 16 digits long and there are 64 possible codes BUT this doesn't mean I memorised 64 16 digit combinations. Each of the 3 objects in the level can be 4 different colours, and each object affects its own set of digits in the code (e.g the arrow affects digits 1, 4, 7, 9, and 15). This means I had to learn 2 things, firstly I had to memorise 12 small combinations, 1 for each of the colours, and then get really good at stitching the 3 colour codes together into the combination. In the end, I had almost full confidence with any code with the first colour being purple or red, medium confidence in dark red and low confidence in brown. If you are looking to do this pauseless yourself i'd recommend practicing solving it a lot before starting to bring it to gd, I made an app to help me practice it before I started trying to do it in runs. As for my difficulty opinion, IF you weren't allowed to pause (e.g what I did) then its slightly underrated like 135~ or something, BUT, the thing is that you are allowed to pause which means that none of the difficulty from the puzzle applies MEANING personally I think this is not list worthy because yea (I got 98x8).
