PERCY JACKSON IS FINALLY BACK WITH SEASON 2! In this Mom & Daughter Reacts video, Tessa (Mama’s Geeky) and Lorie dive into Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 2 Episode 1, and we were SO excited to finally start this season! We did watch Season 1 on our own, but this is our very first time reacting to the series on the channel — and we have been waiting with baited breath for Sea of Monsters to begin. Since neither of us have read the books, we are going into this season totally blind, and Episode 1 immediately pulled us in. Right from the start, we were absolutely OBSESSED with Tyson (Daniel Diemer). He is adorable, sweet, innocent, and such a lovable cyclops — we instantly connected with him. But nothing could have prepared us for the shocking reveal at the end of this episode: Tyson is Percy’s half-brother! We were NOT expecting that twist this early in the season, and our reactions say it all. We love that the episode kicked off by focusing on Grover, played by Aryan Simhadri, even though it breaks our hearts to see him in danger. We’re hoping Percy and the bond they share will help bring him home safely. Meanwhile, seeing Percy (Walker Scobell) and Annabeth (Leah Sava Jeffries) at odds is so hard to watch — we adore their dynamic, so we’re hoping they patch things up quickly! And of course, Charlie Bushnell is back as Luke, whose presence already has us nervous for what’s coming next. Episode 1 of Season 2 is full of heart, adventure, humor, mythology, and emotional surprises. From Camp Half-Blood tension to new prophecies, monsters, quests, and huge revelations, the season is starting off with a bang — and we cannot WAIT to see where Percy’s journey takes us next.
