Not every plus-size body looks the same! Think about where your character carries their weight. Do they have fuller arms, thicker legs, a rounder face, or carry most of it in the belly or chest? Small choices in fat distribution dramatically change the silhouette and personality of your design. 2️⃣ Respect the Structure. Underneath it all, every body — no matter the size — still follows a basic anatomical structure: ribcage, pelvis, limbs, etc. Adding fat doesn’t erase this; it just builds on top of it. Keep the underlying structure in mind so your characters look grounded and natural. 3️⃣ Don't Forget the Face. Many artists draw a plus-size body but forget to reflect that in the face. Fat distribution affects cheeks, necks, jawlines, and even eye shape. A thicker neck, fuller cheeks, or a softer jaw can make your character’s face match their body more authentically. 💡 Bonus Tip: The same facial structure can look completely different just by adjusting how you add volume.
