Before anyone come bashing I KNOW Mydei's musical element is supposed to be rock/hard metal, but it's not a genre I feel confident composing in and there are already a lot of similar remixes out there, so I thought I should approach this from a different angle. So the idea is we all know Mydei has been drifting in the Sea of Souls for nine years, what if he heard a mysterious voice - almost like a siren that resembles Gorgo's voice - singing to him to keep him company? This lullaby is an imagination of how Gorgo - Mydei's mother - would sing to her son so that he may feel less alone stranded in the Sea of Souls. It's meant to be very soothing with some dramatic orchestral accompaniment, just like a real lullaby! The inspiration for the lyric "Where wayward tears fall on the ground a single flower blooms / Trekking through Aidonia's snow he swore he'll never cry" is a direct reference to Mydei's story in As I've Written, where it's said that Mydei's tears form into a blood lily that never wilts in the snow. It's such an ethereal, beautiful imagery that I just had to include in the song, it's so haunting. I hope you enjoy my interpretation of this side of Mydei!!!!
