#playlandpark #amusementpark #rollercoasters Hello my friends! We're checking out a brand new park today, Playland Park! It's been around since the 1920s and somehow I haven't made it out to this amusement park in Rye, New York before. It still has some mega vintage 1930s buildings and construction all over. It's beautifully manicured and seems to be well maintained. First stop was Dragon Coaster and then I had the good fortune of meeting Coaster the Dragon! The surf party he had in kiddy land was pretty fun to watch. Never seen a dragon dance before! Sadly, there was lightning in the area that shut down the other coasters in the park, so I decided to check out the two dark rides in this park as well as the Grand Carousel and the Derby Racer. It was amazing to ride some of this history and I hope they keep these around for future generations to enjoy. Hopefully I'll be able to return to ride the remaining roller coasters, even if they're just Zamperla clones, gotta get those credits!
