When I first came up with the idea for this little intro song, Alfabusa gave me some descriptions of a dark world where there were vampires. So, naturally, it had to be in a minor key. The other half of the theme should represent the protagonists rising up, in secret, to stand against that darkness. It is the first soundtrack I've ever done, and also the first soundtrack I did for Alfabusa AB. One of the illustrators (Rude Rubicante) took it on themselves to change the entire intro just to match the song and impressed everyone so much that that was what the intro eventually became, which felt like a warm welcome into the company for me.
