KRAUSZ pipe deflection machine demonstrates the dynamic deflection absorption capabilities of Krausz’s wide-range couplings under high water pressure. The unique flexibility of Krausz products enables absorption of ground movement and prevents future breaks that may occur near the repair area. See 200 liters of water pumped through coupled pipes as the connection constantly shifts up and down, simulating extreme ground movement without leaking a drop. Ground movement is one of the reasons why water and wastewater pipes break. Most of them are connected by rigid couplings that can't absorb stresses caused by changing temperatures, harsh weather conditions and other factors. Krausz products feature unique 2-stage sealing: A progressive pressure-assisted gasket that self-inflates as water pressure rises, creating a very effective seal that also allows pipes to flex within the coupling. In cases of non- or low pressure, the second stage of mechanical sealing is effective. Krausz products' strong connecting seal and flexibility reduce the risk of damage and cracking, saving costs and giving utilities peace of mind.
