Hi everyone, hope you're all doing okay. To hopefully offer a brief moment of respite from all the madness that seemingly exists in our World currently, here is a gentle and simplistic ambient piece featuring the modular system alongside a couple of external synths. As always, the track develops slowly, so please listen to it in its entirety to fully appreciate the track. Patch Info:- NDLR provide clocks to everything via PNW. A Keystep 37 Midi sequence controls chord degrees in a Conductive Labs NDLR (Key / Mode = A – Mixolydian) which in turn feeds Hermod to distribute Midi to the Eurorack system. A 4ms Ensemble through a QPAS is gently swept through a scale throughout the track, both modules modulated by Maths. 2HP Pluck into Nano Modules Font VCF, then into Strymon Magneto to deliver the guitar like washes. Beads as a voice in Wavetable mode into Make Noise LXD,then into Happy Nerding FX Aid, enveloped by an O&C (running Hemispheres) which forms the chopped synth tones that come in part way through the track. The Moog Subharmonicon is on Bass & Subharmonic duty throughout, controlled by NDLR. Poetry fading in and out throughout the track played by a Qu-Bit Nebulae V.2 Additional lush background pad washes from a Waldorf Blofeld, controlled by NDLR. All sounds into Big Sky on “Rainmaker” preset for reverb. As with all my tracks, no DAW was used and all mixing was undertaken solely within the confines of the modular racks.
