The struggle between Millenia and Rain is the struggle between man-made weapons and magic. Which side will be the first to fall? What can you do when you take your usual RPG premise, draw some influence from the ancient/fantasy Eastern world, and are motivated to do your utmost best despite the limited resources at your disposal? Morale of the story: While a great PvP system or beautiful graphics may be what makes people try out and play the game, it are things like the soundtrack that it will be remembered by. It pays to invest in your soundtrack and just let your composers do their thing. DECO Online was one of the first titles to try and break with the generic 'point-and-click' convention that dominated (and still dominates) many MMOs throughout the years. It did this by means of an innovative combo-based combat system, which was quite a rare sight at the time. While the game itself is no longer available, it can rest well in the knowledge that an ever-increasing amount of titles in the present day (Tera, Blade & Soul, etc.) now opt for combo-based/dynamic combat as well.
