Electro Etching a Copper Pendant

In this video I make a Norse inspired pendant from copper and silver using an electro-etching technique. The symbol is the Viking Web of Wyrd or Skulds Net. I designed the template using Inkscape and printed it onto toner transfer paper (often used for creating printed electrical circuits). Heat is used to transfer the design onto freshly cleaned metal. The etching process took about 3 hours at 1 volt. Some of the resist came off during the process but that was what I was after and it produced a nice aged/distressed look to the pendant. The bail is fine silver.
