A first of its kind in TNP, I delve into my initial thoughts of current Russian small unit tactics and gear. Using available video records from Patrick Lancaster in field reporting (below) I make some interesting observations. I think most of what PL does is legit but there are some setup videos I feel and I try to annotate those. I believe this is the only non-Leftist, non-CPF take on the Russian side currently available. You might learn some surprising revelations on what is really going on and how the Russians, at least in these videos, are operating. Small arms, body armor, LBE, shotgun, drone activities, lack of combined arms assaults, Russian logistical support or lack thereof, medical services or lack thereof, thermobaric weapons, hearing and eye protection, precision rifle systems, weapon optic and more are covered here.
