Another HMV-102 in bits as I repair and service it, motor working

Some focus issues with the camera, possibly the high humidity we have now is doing something to it. I have had this black 102C for around four years, maybe five. I was putting it off because I knew the motor was locked up, and it would be a chore to scrub it free. Typical cement like old lubricant all over the motor and inside the spring can. The spring turned out to have been replaced many years ago, no HMV markings on it, it's in good shape and provides plenty of power. Motorboard was damaged and I had to pull another one from my part supply. Fortunately I had one from a similar age 102C so everything was able to swap from one board to the other. Next will be scrubbing the case, it's filthy, needs a few small rexine repairs, but it's bones are solid. I still have several more 102's waiting for me to get to them, a few 106 Electrolas, and I don't remember how many 101's. Next machine will be a 1913 VV-IX, it needs full service and cleaning, but no repair that I see yet.
