Pontiac 62 Heads FOUND for out Pontiac 350 project! Road Trip Time!

Engines are essentially large air pumps, you've likely heard that phrase over and over again from other people. Well our existing Pontiac 350 came with a rather unexciting set of 1971 low compression small valves, and for the goals we have for this 350 Pontiac build we need a better option! Fortunately our good friend Mr Mike found an old set of Pontiac he's had sitting around on a self for a few decades that will work perfectly! One of the best parts about building a Pontiac V8 is the interchangeability of parts, mixing and matching heads between the Pontiac 350, the Pontiac 400, the Pontiac 455 and even in this case the Pontiac 428 allows you to really make some major changes to performance. Without having to go the route of extremely expensive aluminum heads you can switch from pressed in rocker studs to screw in, to 6 bolt exhaust manifolds, to larger valves, and to smaller combustion chambers. In our case with these Pontiac 62 Casting heads, we're checking all those boxes in one move! We just have to go get them. So, it's road trip time!
