Hi everybody, my name is Andy with etrailer.com, and today we're gonna take a look at this TecNiq surface mount LED docking light for pontoon boats. Now this low-profile waterproof LED docking light, which has six diodes here, it's gonna provide you a bright white light to help you dock your pontoon boat while you are out on the water at night. Let me give you a brief demonstration of what this looks like lit up. And I have it connected here to 12 volt power, and I have the lights on in my studio still, and you can see how bright this light is. Let me go ahead and turn those lights off for you, and you can again see just how bright this light is. It's a nice white light, I'm gonna zoom out here and beam this to the wall behind me. This has a light output of 900 lumens, and it's rated up to 100,000 hours of operation. And these LEDs are sealed in a waterproof housing and this clear lens is over white LEDs. Now let's go ahead and take another closer look at it together. This has an IP rating of 68, and what that means for you is that it is fit to stand up against dust and dirt and sand, and it's also going to be resistant to submersion up to a maximum depth of 1.5 meters underwater for up to 30 minutes. Now this does have a military grade-construction circuit board, and the urethane potting offers better heat protection than the common epoxy potting. And this does have a durable black housing, and this is gonna be compatible with 12 volt DC systems. This is a surface mount installation, and this does not have the installation hardware included, so you will have to provide that for yourself locally. I do wanna give you a measurement of the mounting holes here. So let me go ahead and line this up here and give you the distance between these mounting holes. We're gonna be sitting right at about 5 1/4 inches with that distance between the mounting holes, 5 1/4 inches. And then once you have this mounted, you're going to put this trim right over it, and that is going to seal it in, so you won't have to see the installation hardware once you have this installed. Now, while I have this trim on, let me go ahead and give you some further measurements. The overall length of this light with the trim is going to be sitting right at 5, and, about 5 5/8 inches long. And then the overall width here, we're gonna be sitting right at about an inch and 1/4, an inch and 1/4. And then the overall depth, we're gonna be sitting right at about 3/8 inch. And while we're here, this wire length is gonna be right about 7 1/2 inches long. So again, these are six diodes, it's gonna have an output of 900 lumens to 100,000 hours of operation. The input voltage is gonna be 9 to 14 volts and the power draw is going to be .450 to .550 amps. It also includes this gasket that you will put in between the light and your boat. And if you're looking for something similar, but maybe on a smaller scale, a smaller size, I would recommend that you take a look at item number TN98XR. That is a light that's similar, but it's a little bit smaller and is only 450 lumens. Well, that's gonna conclude our look today at TecNiq's surface mount LED docking light for pontoon boats. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me..
