The WELDY energy 1600 tool is a perfect tool to weld Sarnafil® T welding Cord (a SIKA company product). Application conditions/ Limits The use of Sarnafil® T welding Cord is limited to geographical locations with average monthly minimum temperatures of -30 °C. Permanent ambient temperature during use is limited to +50 °C. Resistance Not applicable for permanent exposure to UV irradiation. Installation Method/ Tools According to the valid installation instructions for Sarnafil ® T flat roof waterproofing membranes. Using the WELDY tubular nozzle 5 mm, the WELDY speed welding nozzle assembled on the WELDY energy 1600 tool. The Sarnafil® T welding cord is welded to the membrane along the Sarnabar perimeter fastening to prevent the membrane from slipping. Notes of Installation/ Limits Installation works must be carried out only by Sarnafil Registered Contractor. Temperature limits for the installation of the membrane: Substrate temperature: -30 °C min. / +60 °C max. Ambient temperature: -20 °C min. / +60 °C max. Installation of some ancillary products, e.g. contact adhesives / Cleaners is limited to temperatures above +5 °C. Please observe information given by Sarnafil Product Data Sheets. Special measures may be compulsory for installation below +5 °C ambient temperature due to safety requirements in accordance with national regulations.
