The presenter walks through setting up a connection to Snowflake and selecting a load table (in this case, a customer table) to generate a dimension. WhereScape RED automates key tasks such as naming conventions, target locations, and offers built-in wizards to guide users through building type 1, 2, 3, or 6 dimensions. For the most common and complex case, a type 2 dimension, WhereScape RED simplifies the process by walking the user through adding business keys, selecting tracked fields, and generating update scripts.
