With one very big difference. BETTER airflow. Way, way, way better airflow than came equipped with the original Merlin. I remember with the original I couldn’t get enough airflow out of it - even all the way open it still had a rather restrictive draw. With this new and improved version, I will close it down to about half way… sometimes even just a 3rd of the way open, so as not to have TOO MUCH air. But it's nice to know it's there for when I need it. The airflow is enough to accommodate even the most exotic coils suitable for the deck space the Merlin Mini provides.
