Safe to say we’ve fallen in love with spring along the South Shore of Nova Scotia. This area just can’t keep us away! ⚓️ We recently packed the girls up and headed down there from Cape Breton to have a little family staycation at Oak Island Resort 😍 Here’s everything we got up to and a mini spring itinerary that hopefully inspires you to travel here too! 1. Check into this seaside resort and relax in your room - we LOVE that they’re super dog friendly! 2. Dine at a unique German restaurant called the Old Black Forest on the first night (highly recommend their jägerschnitzel.. so. good.) 3. Enjoy the brilliant South Shore starry night skies back at the resort. 4. The next day check out a local trail like the Riverbank Habitat near Lunenburg. 5. Spend the afternoon exploring picture perfect Mahone Bay. Tons of cute shops and places to eat here! 6. Come back to Oak Island to experience a wine and chocolate tasting with Petite Riviere Vineyards and Rousseau chocolates (part of Oak Islands spring packages) 7. Take a sunset stroll along the breakwater. 8. Indulge in dinner, drinks, and live music at the resort's Three Sheets bar. 9.
