Celebration of Life for Ted Samuel Jacob June 6, 1944 – December 5, 2025 Join us in honoring the remarkable life of Ted Samuel Jacob, a devoted husband, father, and friend. Ted's journey took him from his birthplace in Northbrook, Illinois, through college football at North Dakota State and graduate studies at Washington State, where he met his lifelong best friend Gene—who introduced him to his beloved wife, Arlene. Together, Ted and Arlene built a beautiful life on their farm in Hobart, where they spent 45 years creating a home filled with love. A talented computer science engineer, Ted contributed to major projects at Boeing, Nordstrom, and Kaiser. But his greatest legacy was as a father—a man of few words who taught through example, showing how to build, create, solve problems, and live with integrity, humor, and unwavering support. Though time has passed since his December passing, the love between parent and child remains eternal. We gather to remember an extraordinary man who touched countless lives.
