You ask any marine surveyor who has carried out a pre-purchase inspection and they all comment on how well they were built. Get behind the wheel and you will understand that the quality does not stop at the build. Performance from this 32 model is exceptional! During the recent photo shoot I was throwing her around in tight turns and enjoying every moment, just ask my photographer and drone pilot. The stand out for me on the Bavaria is her underwater hull shape. They ride very level with little need for trim adjustment and are particularly stable at rest and let's face it, most of our time out on the water is spent swinging off a mooring or anchor where stability is so important for comfort. Power from her twin Volvo Penta V6's with Duoprops is ample, A bow thruster makes handling very easy. 'Odyssey' has just had a major birthday. Over $16,000 has been spent on engine servicing and maintenance plus polishing and antifouling. She currently lives in a rack at Blue HQ so she is ready for anyone to step aboard and enjoy the best part of the season. Internally she is very tidy, my guess is that she has hardly been slept in. She features a forward double berth up in the bow and a separate lockable master cabin amidship with another double. There is plenty of light and ventilation. Her galley is to starboard with fridge, sink, stove and lots of bench space. A dining table opposite. Timberwork and upholstery all present well. Up on deck and the clears are fairly new and the canvas storm covers in tact. The fibreglass and stainless steel fittings are all in excellent condition. Low maintenance Marine Deck cork flooring covers the whole cockpit area with solid teak on the swimboard. A clever seating design has the back rests of the two rear lounges fold down to create a day lounge. A great spot also for those who like to sleep under the stars. Up on the bow sits an electric windlass with anchor and chain rode for simple launch and retrieval. This boat is very original, her dash is neat and tidy with all of her original dials and switches. No nasty holes often seen on boats where successive owners have removed old electronic equipment.
