Ryan and Don have to do lots of research in order to know how to properly make a bondage device for a client. The new shop manager holds a safety meeting to go over the guys antics. Modern Day Blacksmith Modern Day Blacksmith follows Ryan and Don through their daily production of custom furniture, statues, railings, tables, oven hoods, railings, bar stools, and any other project their clients come up with. Don is a master of all wood types, and prides himself on his production of custom furniture, while Ryan is the self proclaimed Master of Metal and prides himself on his production of statues and other works involving steel, bronze, aluminum or any other kind of metal. Both men pride themselves on their knowledge of beer consumption and ridiculing the other one. Modern Day Blacksmith features them making their projects, but it also gives helpful tips for other metal and wood workers in the industry. It also includes their antics around the shops whether it be making fun of the way they dress, settling their disagreements through “Skills Challenges”, or blowing up something with fire, guns or dynamite.
