Set wheels, air filters, bolts/nuts and Owners Manual to one side. Lay box on one side and gently slide compressor out of box. Stand compressor on end on a flat surface, with pull handle facing down. Obtain wheel, bolt and nut. Securely attach wheel to frame as shown. Repeat for the second wheel. Secure nuts by tightening with 2 wrenches, not supplied. Obtain cushion, bolt and nut. Secure to frame as shown. Secure by tightening with 2 wrenches, not supplied. Lift compressor to the upright position. Remove plastic motor plug inserts and dispose. Install 1.0 Hp Air filter by screwing into motor/pump air inlet port. Turning clockwise, gently hand-tighten only. Repeat for the second air filter. Install 4” Air Filter tubes into the port hole on the side of each filter – press in to secure. NOTE: orientation of the tubes does not matter. The tubes help keep particulates like sawdust or paint spray from being ingested into the motor. Next, connect the air compressor to a 110 volt 60hz power source. A standard 15 Amp breaker circuit is suggested. Flip the Power Switch lever to Turn ON the compressor. Air will begin to fill tank as indicated on the Main Tank Pressure Gauge. Working Pressure is 105-130 PSI Motor should deactivate and shutoff at approximately 130 PSI (± 5 PSI) Turn OFF the compressor. Pull on Safety Valve Ring to release air from tank (for test purposes only), then push valve stem to close. Open Manual Ball Drain Valve to release air; this is the Normal Method to remove air from tank. When tank pressure gauge reads zero (0)….close the Manual Ball Drain Valve by turning at a 90 degree angle. NOTE: By default the compressor will output 105 PSI (+/- 5 PSI); this is when the compressor will KICK ON when pressure drops in the tank (i.e. as pressure drops from 130 PSI, pressure switch will reactive and turn on the the motor/pump at approx. 105 PSI). Next, connect to equipment tooling or an Air Hose Kit (for example the CAT-376 - Not Supplied) Turn ON the compressor. If you want to Regulate OUTPUT Air Pressure to a lower value (i.e. 40 PSI for Air Brushing): 1. Trigger Air Hose Blow Gun continuously. 2. Simultaneously adjust Regulator Knob CCW to desired pressure level while observing the Regulator gauge needle move up and down (this is the upper or smaller gauge on the compressor). The compressor is now ready for use. CAUTION: Do not allow motor/pump to run continuously for more than 45 minutes at a time (60 minutes maximum) or motor/pump damage will occur. -------------------------------- Questions?
