As the journey expands beyond the initial vault story, the season explores new regions including the legendary city of New Vegas, revealing deeper conflicts between factions, dangerous creatures, and the harsh realities of life after nuclear devastation. The studio delivered around 250 VFX shots for the series, mainly focusing on building large-scale environments and expanding the world of the Fallout universe. Raynault VFX worked extensively on the New Vegas environments, creating wide establishing shots and enhancing the skyline to capture the retro-futuristic style of the Fallout world. The team also developed major set extensions for the Freeside district, transforming practical filming locations into dense, detailed environments filled with layered structures and atmospheric elements. Another important part of their work included digital environments for Site-X, where the artists built large interior spaces and atmospheric environments to convey massive scale while keeping the dark and enclosed mood of the location.
