Hey everybody welcome back to another episode of Muddy Reviews, in this video, we are checking out the IDOGEAR Foam "SAPI" plate for Airsoft plate carriers. These FOAM SAPI plates are designed to give your Airsoft plate carrier form and rigidity without all that unnecessary weight of a real ballistic SAPI plate. The IDOGEAR foam SAPI plates are rather thick but not overly thick and come flat but can be curved by hand and hold that shape decently once shaped. I have actually done a video on making my own foam SAPI plates from EVA foam and actually think that is a better way to go at the end of the day. It is a little more time intensive but you get a tailored product to your needs. I had to chop up these IDOGEAR "plates" to make them fit my son's plate carrier. Overall though the quality was decent and I would prefer something like S&S precision training plate but in a pinch, these are better than an empty plate carrier.
