The Pendant (Short Film)

Half term project completed ☑️ For something to keep our kids occupied during half-term we tasked them with a filmmaking challenge to produce a short film from scratch. They rose to it incredibly well and came up with an idea, wrote the script and then we made it, with them acting for the first time and learning all about the technical aspects of filmmaking along the way. We took advantage of a break in the weather and the beautiful scenery of the Tamar Trails for this no-budget production. It was shot completely handheld with a Panasonic GH5 and Olympus Pro 12-40mm f2.8 lens using natural light and RodeGO microphones on location and a boomed Rode NTG2 microphone for the interior. Edited in DaVinci Resolve. Presenting 'The Pendant', a mystery adventure written by and starring Arthur (10) and Alyssa (9). We hope you enjoy!
