If you didn't follow along with the video here are the broken down steps: Tools and Materials Needed for Spark Plug Change New spark plugs (check your owner’s manual for the correct type) 5/8 Socket wrench set with spark plug socket Torque wrench New oil filter New oil (check your owner’s manual for the correct type and amount) Oil filter wrench 13m Socket wrench set Oil drain pan Funnel Jack and jack stands or ramps Spark Plug 1. Locate the Spark Plugs Open the hood and locate the engine cover. 10m to remove the engine cover to access the spark plugs. 2. Remove the Ignition Coils Use a 10m socket wrench to remove the bolts securing the ignition coils. Carefully pull out the ignition coils and set them aside. 3. Remove the Old Spark Plugs Use a 5/8. spark plug socket attached to a socket wrench to loosen and remove the old spark plugs. 4. Inspect and Gap the New Spark Plugs Check the gap on the new spark plugs using a spark plug gap gauge. If gap is incorrect please see dealer. 5. Install the New Spark Plugs Carefully thread the new spark plugs into the cylinder head by hand to avoid cross-threading. Use a torque wrench to tighten the spark plugs to the manufacturer’s recommended torque specification. 6. Reinstall the Ignition Coils Reinstall the ignition coils and secure them with the bolts. Reconnect the electrical connectors to the ignition coils. Changing the Oil 1. Lift the Vehicle Use a jack to lift the front of the vehicle and place jack stands under the car for support, or drive the car onto ramps. Ensure the car is stable before you start working underneath it. 2. Drain the Old Oil Place the oil drain pan underneath the oil drain plug. Use the 13m socket wrench to loosen and remove the oil drain plug. Allow the oil to drain completely into the pan. This can take several minutes. Once drained, clean the drain plug and replace it, tightening it securely. 3. Remove the Old Oil Filter Position the oil drain pan underneath the oil filter to catch any residual oil. Use an oil filter wrench to loosen and remove the oil filter. Be careful as it may still contain hot oil. 4. Install the New Oil Filter Apply a small amount of new oil to the rubber gasket on the new oil filter. Screw the new oil filter onto the engine by hand until it’s snug. Do not over-tighten it. 5. Add New Oil Locate the oil fill cap on the top of the engine and remove it. Place a funnel into the oil fill hole. Pour the recommended amount and type of oil into the engine. Replace the oil fill cap and tighten it securely.
