Multi-Slide Die Casting Our multi-slide process is a high-speed, temperature-controlled process that produces thin-walled components so complex in geometry that they would need to be manufactured from two or more pieces if other methods of die casting were used. Mangnesium has a low resistance to cutting and a relatively low heat capacity, and because of that we use tools with smooth faces, sharp cutting edges, large relief angles, small rake angles, few blades, and a geometry that ensures good chip flow during machining Aluminum The most widely used die casting alloy that is very good for machining purposes as it is not necessary to use high clamping forces. You can use moderate clamping to avoid the dimensional variations that occur as a result of distortion.
