Vintage McDonald's Pinback Buttons You've Probably Never Seen

Today I'm showing part of my vintage fast food collection — my pinback buttons. Most of these buttons come from promotions by McDonald's, with a few from Wendy's mixed in. My mom actually made this banner so I could display the collection. It's over six feet tall and holds dozens of vintage buttons. Some of the buttons promote interesting pieces of fast food history, including promotions for McDonald's Pizza, the famous advertising character Mac Tonight, employee badges, and the “Super Size It” era. A number of these pieces also came from the collection of well-known McDonald's collector Ann Clark, which makes them even more special to me. I collect vintage fast food toys, cereal prizes, and promotional items. These small giveaways were never meant to last, which is exactly why I enjoy saving them.
