I start this walk on the Greenway near the Palm Restaurant and make my way to Downtown Crossing, the Boston Common, the beautiful Public Garden and finally the Commonwealth Avenue Mall in the Back Bay. As I head out of the Boston Common, there is a little snow squall, because - this is Boston, this is March - weather happens. If you ever visit Boston, be sure to take your picture on the footbridge in the Public Garden. And don't worry, by the time the Swan Boats are sailing, the pond will be all cleaned up and pretty. The walk ends at the Vendome Firefighters' Memorial which honors the 9 firemen who died in the Hotel Vendome fire of 1972. Recorded: 03-14-21
