With the ever hotter summer looming, we knew that travelling with a dog and a cat we would need shade, so we added an awning. We wanted an awning that was cheap, and simple to install. This sun canopy is probably the easiest install there is, in this video we show that, as well as how to set it up and its pros and cons. We also decided to upgrade our van security, after a dodgy night wild camping in France where people were around our van in the middle of the night, we wanted to add some cctv cameras so we can see from inside the van, who, or what, may be lurking outside. This camera system looked perfect as we didn't have to do any additional wiring and anyone can fit it in about 20 minutes!
