eSky ALBATROSS 2.6 metre POWERED GLIDER\SAILPLANE: ESSENTIAL RC FLIGHT TEST AVAILABLE HERE: http://bit.ly/eskyAlbatrosBestPrice Literally takes 2 minutes to put this big glider together. Just slot the wings onto the spar which you insert into the fuselage, then slot the V tails onto the fuselage. Not many stickers/decals to apply...that does take another 2 minutes and then just a matter of dropping in the receiver. Construction of this glider is really nice quality. High density EPO foam mostly but with reinforcement and one nice touch was the reinforcement of the hinge line on the flaps and ailerons which from experience can tear very easily. In the air the power system certainly has lots of grunt on a good 4S pack. You need a minimum 3200 mah pack to get the recommended CG without adding more weight. The CG marks are clearly shown under the wing for quick reference check. You will see that Alex had no problem with hand launch. As long as all control surfaces are at neutral then it will pull out of the hand from a gentle throw for its first climb out. This glider is not especially light due to its dense foam construction so the power does have to be used frequently to get it back to altitude for another dive and roll...but it's a fraction of the price of an equivalent composite airframe so allowances should be made.
